After three months joining the company, you can acquire skills and knowledge relavant to foreman level.

At SUMPLUS, we conduct training intensively right after joining the company in order to acquire the skills and knowledge that can be used immediately at working place.
After three months joining the company, we will train every staff to understand the awareness of high safety and apply technology so that they can work individually as a foreman.
We hope that after training, staff can gain a lot of experience, feel a lot of joy at work and get trust from clients.

During three months, what did you learn and how you felt? At the end of each month, we interview new employees about their impressions.
We also collect staff's feelings who work from 6 months to 1 year.
Through a variety of jobs and training classes, company can understand a little bit about staff's feelings.

A lot of first things
I am happy to get involved in the venue construction

There are a lot of things to study for the first job, but myself can feel this job is interesting and step by step I can feel that I am joining the event construction such as distributing components and inserting panels while seeing drawings. There are some things I still can't do with the computer system, but I am working hard to get used to it while hearing my seniors' advice.

I had more time for myself

Instead of coming and leaving the office at a fixed time, the time zone fluctuates depending on each event, so if you are late at work, you can take a rest slowly, or if you can return early, you can have a good time and enjoy your time. My seniors always say "If anything stucks, please ask me", so I feel comfortable when asking questions.

At the working place, the number of times that we work with new staff and teach them how to work a has increased.
In the office, I gradually learn how to use the computer system.
I am trying to practice at home the rope work skills because it is necessary for working with tents.

In April, I had a lot of work do do by myself, but from May, I became aware of looking around while working.
Now I can communicate with part-time staff during break.
Compared with April, now I get used to working on computer system.

From now on I want to build up more experience in working on-site

Now I can gradually remember little by little the names of the parts that first I couldn't remember at all.
I could understand the system as well as the business in company, I also can make the shift by myself.
This is the first time I work at this field so I still have many things to study, first I set up the goal that I can understand the construction of my work.
I want to become an employee who can meet the customer's expectations of while experiencing at working sites.

Compared to the first day and now, I get used to the working system in my company.
I can understand what to do because I was explained clearly "why do you need to do".
After 3 month-training, even it was hard, I could see my weak points as an employee.
I want to become an employee who get trust by both part-time staff and customers, and they say about me "If you ask this person, everything will be alright".

The moment you feel your growth up.

After six months joining the company, I gradually learned the system of the event.
I have never experienced this job before, so everyday it is so a new day to me with full of joy.
I'm still working under the instructions of my seniors, but I can see the surroundings little by little compared to when I first joined the company.
I could feel I grew up a lot compared to the first month when I did not know anything, I want to make use of what I studied from 3 month-training course into actual work.
August is the business circle, but I could take vacation in August, this was beyond my expectation.

I also want to challenge more.

After 3 month-training, I am working at the Sapporo office.
Now when doing consulting directly with customers, I can feel "Whether our customers are putting trus on us". I am feeling that I am doing something worthly.
When I first joined the company, I just only could do my tasks, now little by little, I can grasp the work speed and give next instructions, I aslo can work while paying attention to new staff whether they are in trouble or not.
Ther are no solutions for problems such as how to explain clearly, but I am trying to solve problems by listening seniors' advice and communicate with them.

The number of consultings from part-time staff has increased.

After 1 year joining the company, the number of consultings from part-time staff has increased little by little. We worked at the same working site and communicated with each other during the break, so I feel that I have been trusted by them.
Since I have no experience when joining the company, I want to acquire more knowledge, sometimes I use paid vacations to study more.
I had the opportunity to see a variety of tools at working site, and I began to see, collect, and gather information of those tools.
Until now I am still a new employee, I want to become a senior that is easy to consult with. To do that, I think communication is very important.

Have both on-off days substantially

I feel that I gradually get a trust by customers, and that the distance with them has shrunk compared to when I first joined the company.
After six months joining the company, I could take paid vacations to balance both working time and private time, such as taking vacations to travel with friends.
Depending on the situation, if I do not work overtime, I may hold back the event, but I am surprised that the overtime is less than I thought before joining the company.
We will continue to build relationships of trust with our customers and staff, work hard as well as provide the right instructions in meetings.

Although there were many things to remember,
the work is new and joyful.

I totally had no experience when joining the company, everyday I have to study a lot at training center and actual working site.Although there were many hard things to remember, I was happy that I was taught a lot off new things that I didn't know before.
It is very easy to ask to what you do not understand during the training, then I will received the explanations by specific example and they're easy to understand.
The job of working at construction site is mostly for men, this made me worried, but actually they're friendly that we can make a joke immediately. This made me surprised.

Days that work as an employee
The first month passed so fast.

Before until now I still worked as a part-time staff, but the first month working as an employee passed so fast.
When working as a part-time staff, I just needed to work at construction site, but now as a new employee, I need to be at the event site, as well as working at office that I have never thought.
I worked at event construction, but I just started to work at interior construction, now I am working while reconfirming what I learned in training.
I also want to overcome the difficulties of talking on the phone and typing on computer.

Answer questions politely
No more learning environment.

I still have my full of work, but I could have spare time a little bit.
I try to see senior employees and how they give directions, and try to understand the content of talks with customers, but it is somehow difficult.
At work, you may be cautioned about how to place panels while working, but if there is anything you don't understand, you will be guided carefully, I think it is really a good working environment.
Sometimes there are questions from part-time staff but I do not have enough knowledge to answer, I want to soak up knowledge.

My seniors teach me a lot
day by day I understand more and more.

I went to construction work of 10m tent.
Senior employees will show you exactly how to assemble a large tent and precautions.
I gradually understand the working flow of office work.
Until now, I didn't talked much over the phone, and I didn't know how to pick up the phone, but I was taught by my seniors. I was nervous when picking up the first call.
Talking and working together with many of my seniors, I want to become an employee who can help part-time staff when they're in trouble.

Thinking and acting by yourself
start with what you can do first

I can understand little by little about working process.I can take consideration by myself "If this work finish, what to do next"
I can easily have a talk with my seniors not only at work but also after work.
I also want to check around like my seniors, so I start by seeing another staff whether they are doing something dangerous or not.
I can easily communicate with everyone without thinking I just joined the company for 3 months.

I will continue to improve my skills actively.

3 month-training course helped me reconfirm the assembling methods and working orders that I forgot.
I still don't have confidence in giving instructions to new employees, but I can feel I am growing up when I take care of new employees and communicate with everyone.
Sometimes I still feel "there's something not good", and I am trying to develop myself so that I can work safely under customers' guidance.

The joy of getting trust
I want to broaden my knowledge and technique.

Gradually I am in charge of part-time staff, when the work comes smoothly, customers will remember your name and even ask you "Ogawa, are you alright now?", I feel happy and also have more motivation to continue working.
I was taught thoroughly what I didn't know during the training course, so I want to broaden my knowledge and technique for myself.
It has been 6 months from joining the company, I could get the paid vacation to go to the theater and enjoy my favourite musical shows.

After 6 months my skills can be up and I also feel my working motivation increasing.

Three months passed since the training was over, I feel motivated that I can think about ways to work efficiently and talking with other employees about work.
There are some tasks I am not good at enough, I feel it is so hard sometimes. However, I try to get rid of my weakness by talking with my seniors and listen to their advice.
Although I am not doing well like my seniors, I try my best to get the looking around ability, as well as explain and give instructions to new employees smoothly.
I can get the paid vacation more than I thought, now I am making a plan to go for travelling in some countries or places that I have never gone before.

With the working site beyond my imagination, I am working with a lot of interest.

I had experience in working as part-time staff in Kumamoto office.
I had a chance to assemble tents that are hard to see in Kumamoto, I am working with a lot of interest.
Although I am an employee in training period, I want to explain clearly to part-time staff, when having a new idea "There's another way to explain more clearly", I feel so good.
I am not good at giving tasks to others, so I am trying to learn how to give tasks clearly.

Not only knowledge and technique, you also can learn how to work.

I try to work with new employees as much as I can, and pay attention to dangerous tasks.
Sometimes at working site, I receive pecautions from my seniors such as "What should Fukushima do". At that time, I can feel the importance of the same mind with seniors.
I feel grateful when I am taught what I do in the company, and I can receive explanation whenever I do not understand.

From training until now I was taught how to talk clearly about what I am doing, I also learned a lot of useful explanation methods.
Although I will come back Kumamoto to work as an employee, during training, I always grasp knowledge as well as technique. I want to grow up so that I can work while I also can check around whether someone is doing dangerous tasks or not.
I will do my best to become an employee who customers can rely on and part-time staff can say, "If we have this person, everything is okay".
